McKinsey Digital invites students from across Europe who identify as women to take the next step in their professional journeys at Spark Your Digital Passion. During this virtual event, taking place October 7 - 8, 2021, you will learn more about McKinsey Digital and the meaningful work we do at the crossroads of business and technology. At Spark Your Digital Passion, you will participate in an immersive exercise helping a retail company build its digital strategy and a road map for future technology. Along the way, you will learn more about global trends that will radically change the industry.

McKinsey experts will share their knowledge to support you as you lay out a clear vision for the retail company that answers several questions. What strategic capabilities will the retailer need in the future? What will the customer experience look like? What technology will be essential?

Our consultants will provide you with methodologies and tools to complete the exercise and show you how to prepare and deliver a convincing presentation of your results. You will have ample opportunity to expand and practice your skills by analyzing problems, working in a team, and presenting your work.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Spark Your Digital Passion, you should self-identify as a woman, be based in Europe, and meet the following requirements:

• Current university student (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD level)
• Background in economics, engineering, natural sciences, or technology
• Outstanding record of academic achievement
