Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands Archipelago (Spain), at first brings to mind package tourists and crowded beach resorts, but there's a different side to the island that we want to discover with you.

We will be staying at the Melia Del Mar Hotel in Illetas – a little bit off the beaten track, but directly located along a stunning piece of Mallorca's 550 km of coastline and still within reach of the capital city Palma. The hotel was designed by star architect José Antonio Coderch and is a landmark in Mallorquin modern design.
