We would like to invite you to our brand new business course “Walk the Talk” in Paris! At Strategy& we drive sustainable change by solving those problems that are most important for our clients ánd for the world. This business course will provide you with an excellent opportunity to step in our consultants’ shoes and gain an inside perspective on what it means to work at Strategy&. Together with a group of other ambitious students and some of our own Strategy& colleagues you will embark on a unique adventure to help a leading Athletic Footwear & Apparel company reach their sustainability goals.

Experience Walk the Talk: Paris

On Tuesday morning April 19th, we will set off for Paris: the capital of romance, fashion ánd the landmark Paris climate agreement. During our stay in Paris, you will help an athletic footwear company rethink their value chain in order to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact. Working on this exciting case will allow you to show off your strong analytical skills and familiarize yourself with the way strategy consultants work. But needless to say, there will also be plenty of time to get to know our consultants while enjoying the beautiful city of Paris! On Thursday afternoon, we will head back to Amsterdam to give you a chance to meet the rest of our Amsterdam office and catch a glimpse of our open company culture. On Friday you will finalize your advice for our client and present your results to a panel of industry experts. The business course will end on Friday afternoon.

At Strategy&, our consultant’s personal development is of the highest priority. Throughout the business course you will receive a large deal of training and coaching by our experienced consultants, including feedback sessions that can help you identify your own strengths and development areas.

We are looking for talented Master’s students and 3rd year Bachelor students from all academic backgrounds and universities. Selected participants for the business course will not only have a marvelous strategy consulting experience, but will also get the opportunity to be ‘fast-tracked’ during the formal hiring process for an Associate position at Strategy&.

Selection process

The selection process for Walk the Talk consists of a CV selection and a round of two case interview.

The application deadline for submitting your CV and high school and university transcripts is 6 February 2022 at 23:59 hrs.

On 11 February we will inform you whether or not you have been selected for the case interview round.  In preparation for the interview we will organize a Crack a Case workshop for those invited to the interview round.. In this workshop you learn how to prepare for your case interview. Date will be announced at a later stage.

The case interviews will take place on the following days:

• 23, 24 and 25 February
• 2, 3 and 4 March
• 9, 10 and 11 March

Participants who are successful in securing a business course position will be informed personally before 18 March 2022.

Do I need special skills or a specific background to attend Walk the Talk?

We are looking for talented Master’s students and 3rd year Bachelor students from all academic backgrounds and universities. No specific background or expertise is required to attend. What counts is your intellectual curiosity, strong academic performance and interest in strategy consulting. We welcome all students enrolled at universities in the Netherlands.
