What does the work of a strategy consultant entail and what is it like to work at A.T. Kearney as a women? Apply to the A.T. Kearney Women Event to find out during a fully catered event organized especially for female students.

The program

During this day you will work around the theme ‘Making impact’: supported by a training and coaching you and your team will be challenged to solve a business case. Next to the content the way of communicating the solution to the client is key in our work as strategy consultants. Discover how you can make (more) impact and use these insights to develop a strong pitch. The Women Event is a unique opportunity to get to know A.T. Kearney. Together with other participants you will be immersed in our company atmosphere and you will have the chance to meet our (female) colleagues and ask all your burning questions.

This event takes place at our Amsterdam Office and ends with a dinner in the center of the city.

The event

During our event everything is fully arranged for you. You will get to know A.T. Kearney’s people, our vision and the day-to-day work of a strategy consultant. Together with other participants you will be immersed in the company atmosphere during the case, the lunch and the evening program that included a dinner. We look forward to meeting you!

During the A.T. Kearney Women event I got the chance to get to know strategy consulting at A.T. Kearney. The focus of this day was how, as a woman, you can aim for an ambitious career without losing sight of your other life goals. It was very inspiring to hear from experienced career women. One of the speakers taught me that multitasking & outsourcing are key when you strive to have a career and family life…

The afternoon program was organized around the theme ‘Presence & Personal impact’. I learned how the other girls see me and which aspects of my behavior triggered this perception. The day ended with a nice dinner and my overall feeling of A.T. Kearney was very positive. A year later I applied for an internship, that I am carried out with much enthusiasm.

During my bachelor I first got to know A.T. Kearney. At the time I had no idea what consultancy was, but my interest was immediately triggered by the enthusiastic presentation and the diversity of the job.  During my time with ‘The Kleine Consultant’, I got into contact with A.T. Kearney again and I decided to participate in the Women Event. We got a training about personal impact and a former A.T.  Kearny consultant who is now leading ‘leadership trails’ in the Himalayas was present

Over the years I became very enthusiastic about A.T. Kearney, on the one hand because A.T. Kearney is a large international consultancy firm doing projects for important clients and on the other hand because it is an organization in which there is always a relaxed, personal and down to earth atmosphere with lots of laughs.

As a medical student, you don’t really get in touch with strategy consulting. Hence, A.T. Kearney’s Women Event was my first introduction to this field of work. The main reasons to participate were to find out what strategy consulting is, to get to know A.T. Kearney and to discover if it would be a good fit for me. As the name specifies, the A.T. Kearney Women Event is an event, at the Amsterdam Office, specifically directed at female students. During a full day you experience life as a strategy consultant and the atmosphere in the office, while doing workshops, solving cases and pitching ideas. The day is very educative and challenging and ends with drinks and dinner for all participants with consultants present to answer all your questions.

In one day I got a good image of strategy consulting and of A.T. Kearney. The atmosphere at A.T. Kearney is nice and open, there is a lot of room for personal growth and development and there are many possibilities and interesting challenges in the job. It was interesting to see so many people with different background working towards a joined goal. At the end of the day, I biked home feeling very enthusiastic about A.T. Kearney.

The A.T. Kearney Women event is an amazing opportunity to get to know strategy consulting and A.T. Kearney. It was educating, fun and challenging and I highly recommend it to female students!
