Strategy& Blockchain Business Course: Unchain Your Potential

We would like to invite you to our new business course: 'Unchain Your Potential'. Together with ~20 other participants you will embark on a unique adventure in Barcelona. In Barcelona we will dive into the digital technology that has the potential to profoundly disrupt many industries - Blockchain. Over a period of three days, we will analyze the opportunities and risks and find answers to our client's strategic questions. During this period, you will get an excellent opportunity to experience what it is to be a Strategy Consultant at Strategy& and explore one of the most vibrant cities of Europe. Programme

Wednesday 28 November
Today you will experience what it is to be a Strategy Consultant while you are introduced to the exciting world of Blockchain! We will fly to Barcelona in the early morning, teach you how to adopt our "Hypothesis Driven Approach" to problem solving, walk through Blockchain's basics and discuss how Blockchain is driving fundamental change in different industries around the globe.

Afterwards we will go for a relaxing dinner and you will have the opportunity to explore lovely Barcelona and have dinner in an authentic place outside the touristy areas!

Thursday 29 November
Armed with the Strategy Consulting and Blockchain knowledge acquired on the first day, you will start cracking the case we have drafted for you based on our real-life engagement. Together with your team you will deal with the typical challenges a consultant is exposed to on a daily basis: breaking down a complex and ambiguous problem into its components, formulating initial hypotheses, analyzing data and synthesizing an initial view on potential ways forward.

Friday 30 November
We will take the morning flight back to Amsterdam and finalize the case work in our Amsterdam office. Each group will present their findings to our Executive Board, which is made up of those people that ask the most difficult questions. Afterwards, we will celebrate your successful delivery with dinner and drinks in the city center of Amsterdam together with many of our colleagues.

Crack our Blockchain case and explore Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade fair and cultural centres, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the most epic cities in the world!

You will play an active, leading role and experiment instead of observe in order to grasp the basic idea behind Blockchain and how the technology works.

In teams, we will develop trend-setting strategies around the topic, and give you the opportunity to develop and prove your analytical skills over the period of three days. Work with us to analyze this digital megatrend and develop a future-proof blockchain strategy.

Throughout the Business Course, you will be coached by our experienced consultants. Our coaching is focused on contributing to your personal development via numerous feedback sessions, enabling you to become familiar with our approach and working style and taking time to learn about the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges in the life of a consultant.

We will inform you on 19 October as to whether or not you have been selected for the interview round. We will send instructions to all interviewees on how to best prepare for the two case interviews.
