Business Course: Marker Wadden - Beyond Borders

Marker Wadden: Beyond Borders is an exclusive three-day strategy experience for 20 top performing students, hosted by Oliver Wyman Amsterdam from Wednesday, October 7, to Friday, October 9, 2026.

More than a case competition, this is an opportunity to address a real strategic challenge and develop recommendations with the potential to create lasting impact. You will explore how Marker Wadden can expand its reach and secure its future, from identifying sustainable funding opportunities to increasing international awareness and engagement.

Throughout the experience, you will collaborate with Oliver Wyman consultants and representatives from Natuurmonumenten. They will introduce the challenge, share firsthand insights into the nature reserve, and provide feedback on your team’s final presentation.

You will receive hands-on coaching, use our AI tools to strengthen your research, analysis, and strategic thinking, and develop your problem-solving and teamwork skills. You will also experience what life is like as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman.

Your team will present its recommendations directly to representatives from Marker Wadden and Natuurmonumenten, giving you the opportunity to help shape the future of one of the Netherlands’ most unique nature reserves.

We are looking for talented master's students and final-year bachelor's students from all academic backgrounds who are ambitious, curious, analytical, and eager to solve real-world strategic challenges.
