As (Tech) consultant at EY you support organisations with these transformations. Our teams exist of specialised consultants with different backgrounds. Our consultants are involved in a variety of projects, from developing up to implementing a strategy within different industries. Our core areas are Data Analytics, Technology, IT, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Strategy, Finance, Risk, Supply Chain & Operations and Life Science & Healthcare.
The opportunity
As commercial analytics Senior Manageryou’re part of our ambitious, growing and always fun Data & Analytics team. We work with many global customers in a variety of industries such as: Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail, Chemicals, Healthcare. Our aim is to help our clients to experience and demonstrate the value commercial analytics and all its features can bring to an organization through driving business process insights, improvements and automation.
The Consumer Commercial Analytics centre of excellence sit’s within the Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam and is part of our European Growth Platform (EGP). The team acts as a global hub for EY, helping EY’s priority clients make significant improvements to commercial performance by deploying market leading data and analytics solutions.
Your key responsibilities

Drive our global clients to get more return from their revenue management levers (including promotions, trade investments and product assorment) by deploying sophisticated predictive and prescriptice anlaytics that leverages traditional and emerging data sets from a comprehensive data layer -
Lead large-scale client engagements and provide both Commercial subject matter expertise and project management experience to serve as the “go to person” for engagement teams -
Foster relationships with global client whilst consistently delivering quality client service within expected timeframes and on budget -
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes -
Support in the development, incubation and delivery of sophisticated data engineering and machine learning products that can drive organisations to make better decisions -
Support on client pursuits, proposal development and oral presentations -
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and knowledge of Consumer and Commercial field of play as well as ability to assimilate new learnings -
Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients’ business
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have

Demonstrated leadership and business development capabilities -
Bachelor, Masters , or PhD degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus, or equivalent experience -
More than eight years’ experience including substantial time in Consulting, Consumer Products and Commercial context and particular focus on: -
Revenue Management including pricing, promotion and assortment optimization -
Sales operating model, process and capability improvements

Ability to oversee analytics, data modeling and management -
Fluent in English -
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet client needs
