As (Tech) consultant at EY you support organisations with these transformations. Our teams exist of specialised consultants with different backgrounds. Our consultants are involved in a variety of projects, from developing up to implementing a strategy within different industries. Our core areas are Data Analytics, Technology, IT, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Strategy, Finance, Risk, Supply Chain & Operations and Life Science & Healthcare.

To accelerate with the alliance EY Global started a Microsoft Services Group to help companies realize long-term value through end-to-end digital business transformation. Powered by a combination of core cloud-based Microsoft products and deep EY experience in technology, industry and global consulting, the new group builds on the companies’ long-standing strategic alliance. The EY Microsoft Services Group will focus on deep capabilities in technology cloud strategy, Azure, data & AI, IOT, Dynamics 365, M365, and Cyber. The group brings the best of EY and Microsoft to deliver innovative Microsoft cloud-based services.

Your key responsibilities
You will lead the Azure & Intelligent Cloud competence within the Microsoft Services Group. In your role, you are a key player in delivering large and complex Microsoft Azure projects and implementations. You will be focusing on the commercial aspect of the role, as well as expanding the current team within EY. As such, you will get a unique chance to further develop your career by:

• Engage in sales journeys and innovative development programs of new and/or existing businesses and services.
• Develop new opportunities for leading clients with our Microsoft Services Group.
• Train and mentor colleagues in the team.
• Advising our clients on Microsoft Azure and Intelligent Cloud solutions

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

• A background in (Microsoft) software engineering and/or cloud architecture
• A proven track record in building, managing and/or coaching (consultancy) teams related to Microsoft Azure environments. You have firsthand experience with this, either in an implementation, architecture or a management role. Your projects have been successful at multiple organizations, and with you, you bring your network of (senior) management relations to EY.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and an analytical mindset. You are curious, a critical thinker, and you’re good in building and leveraging business relations. Next to this, you have powerful negotiation skills.
• 7+ years’ of relevant experience in technology / IT strategy and transformation of which 5+ years’ within the Microsoft environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both speaking and writing.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
• Specific knowledge regarding Intelligent Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and/or Cyber Security.
