The opportunity
The Global Assurance BMC team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual with a strong background in professional services communications. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of an internal and external communications strategy to support the business priorities of the Assurance service line in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA). You will also help adapt and share content and ideas from our Global organization to the needs of our local regions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable in a dynamic environment and has proven ability to translate complex business information into clear and impactful messages.
Your key responsibilities
Based in EMEIA, you will work closely with the EMEIA Assurance leadership team to design and execute an internal and external communications strategy, reporting directly to the EMEIA Assurance BMC Leader.
Your responsibilities will include complex projects that you manage over a period of several months, as well as short-term communication needs that arise in response to internal and external events. You will be responsible for leadership communications to EY professionals on a range of topics and contribute to firm-wide messaging on strategic issues such as audit quality and business transformation. Your daily tasks will include writing copy, producing internal webcasts, creating video scripts, and supporting our leaders with their internal and external communications.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience in internal corporate communications
- Experience in change management communications
- Excellent writing, copyediting and communication skills
- Experience working in diverse teams
- Proven ability to be flexible and shift priorities based on business needs
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Understanding of the Assurance business, particularly the audit
- Knowledge of finance and accounting
- Experience using a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to target audiences
