The opportunity
These days, the CFOs of financial services firms face an increasingly complex and rapidly changing technology environment can impact business decision-making. As a Senior Consultant you navigate the clients through these technologyand regulatory changes and transform them into opportunities. You are contributing to the key topics that are important to the CFO by:
- Dealing with topics and changes impactful to both sector and society.
- Owning the topics on the CFO agenda, to contribute to a better working world.
- Doing project-based work in a team to advice clients in new technology implementations and developments in that way building long-lasting relationships with our clients in the financial sector.
- Working in teams and at the same time working independently; at our EY office, at our clients’ offices and remote.
- Working across multiple projects and geographies.
- Collaborating with various EY member firms and near/ off shore delivery hubs.
- Combining various skills, such as executive presentation, storytelling, writing skills, project management and working with various cultures and backgrounds.
Your key responsibilities
- At least 2 years at a blue-chip consulting firm, in the financial industry or at a government organization (strong track record in consulting is highly desirable).
- Obtained an university Master degree with a strong academic record and ideally an IT and business component.
- Experience in delivery business value from technology and experience in delivering value in digital transformation projects.
- Business insights into leading practice in accounting, management reporting and planning process.
- Good understanding and experience in digital enablers in finance.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in implementing leading finance practices and benchmarking.
Ideally, you also have
