Business Analyst/Sales & Client Management

Western Europe is a $1.5bn business. We cover 18 countries and have oversight of all business segments; Corporate Risk and Broking; Human Capital and Benefits; and Investment Risk and Reinsurance. The goal of our team and Sales Operations function is to increase revenue and improve the overall effectiveness of our sales and client management efforts.

The Role

You will get oversight across all WTW products and services and work with a team of ex-management consultants. The role requires strong project management skills as you will be working with multiple lines of businesses across the region covering 15 countries.
In this role, you will work with the Head of Business Development for Western Europe, Business Development Manager(s) as well as Client Relationship Directors to provide business development support. Specific responsibilities include pipeline and financial analytics, reviews of WTW clients and product portfolios to identify opportunities, drive execution in working with the lines of business and with Client Relationship Directors. You will also work closely with the Western Europe industry the development of industry expertise and innovation.

  • Take pipeline reporting, analysis and insight to the next level – bring together multiple data sources, conducts insightful analysis and reviews of the data then reports to senior stakeholders
  • Use compelling tools such as Power BI (no previous knowledge required) to present pipeline and financial analytics on a monthly basis
  • Building robust MI for the Industry team, collating key credentials, monitoring the development of account plans and tracking progress against agreed actions
  • Closely collaborate with functional teams (finance, IT and marketing) and segments (HCB, CRB) to support and roll out key initiatives, revenue synergies and campaigns in the region
  • Support for the joint account planning, prior to, during and following prospect planning meetings
  • Support the preparation of internal communications/newsletters and marketing activities
  • Take active part and contribute to industry-specific business development activities targeted at Technology/Media/Telecom., Construction, Transportation, Financial Institutions and Natural Resources
  • Help support the development of high-quality presentation and positioning materials for WE clients
  • Keep the Intranet/SharePoint sites up to date – add new items, help direct key stakeholders to the right locations; advise them on the sources of data.

This role will be based in Amstelveen.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys driving insight through data and analytics and managing complex projects, motivated by a fast paced environment, having the opportunity to develop their senior relationships and accelerate the sales of Willis Towers Watson.

Key skills required for role:

  • Good Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel (training available and we can coach to improve these)
  • Project management – enjoys project focused work, company analysis, building rounded skillset including presentation skills, data analysis, writing ppt packs/structuring coherent story, research, fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities, great opportunity to learn quickly
  • Time management – ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
