Key responsibilities:

  • Knowledge, and practical application of UK (TUPE) & European (ARD) Employment Law, and an understanding of how it could be triggered within outsourcing / insourcing deals
  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Customers, Solution Architects, Sales Teams, Deal Teams and Employment Legal to sell and deliver people solutions for Accenture Technology outsourcing deals
  • Help devise strategies to mitigate people impacts related to Accenture outsourcing deals by collaborating with customers and internal Accenture teams, advising on suitable people transfer approaches
  • The ability to define risks and issues associated with people transfers and how to mitigate them
  • Accountable for the execution of TUPE / ARD consultation alongside clients which would include:
    • End to end planning and executing including initial consultation with a client/incumbent through to on-boarding transferees
    • Analysing / interpretating employee terms and conditions via HR Due Diligence (including determining severance costs, pension liabilities etc.)
    • Work with employment legal to define the people transfer indemnities for an outsource deal
    • Develop specific proposals for solutions for selected key issues in the HR environment (e.g., compensation & benefits, pension plans, remuneration and bonus systems, incentives, company culture, HR compliance and guidelines)
    • Planning and executing a joint end to end people transfer / transformation plan with a client which would include initial consultation through to on-boarding and integrating transferring employees

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, manage multiple competing priorities, and a pro-active self-motivated work philosophy
  • Possess strong presentation skills, able to clearly articulate people transfer solutions to senior internal and external stakeholders, and have the ability, especially when challenged, to explain / rationalise the solution approach, key risks, issues, assumptions, and plausible mitigations
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
  • French, German, or other European language skills an advantage
