Job Description & Summary

Welcome to PwC’s Experience Center

As part of an international community of creators, makers and innovators you drive the business of PwC’s digital services from our Experience Center. In cross-functional teams, you design and build innovative solutions for our clients to thrive in the ‘experience age’.

Many of our clients face significant challenges - expectations of their customers and employees change faster than they can adapt. At the same time, new market entrants cause significant disruption, and steal market share away. To tackle these challenges, our clients require a partner that can help them innovate and accelerate the implementation of solutions that have an immediate and differentiating impact on the experience provided to their customer or employees.

The Experience Center is part of a multinational European team, closely collaborating with colleagues across offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin and Stockholm to name a few.

You have a great affinity with branding, and you know how to apply brand elements across the full spectrum of digital touchpoints, as well as for non-digital touchpoints.  As a digital native, you understand how mainstream technology and emerging technology can enhance the user experience, and how compelling user interface design, user experience design, and motion design (video, animation, etc) can set a brand, product or service apart. You are comfortable working in cross-functional project teams, and understand the practices around ‘agile delivery’.

  • You can lean on a very strong visual design skill set, and your love and trained eye for good visual design;

  • You know the patterns and guidelines of good UX Design;

  • You have worked with development teams and created Design Systems, online style and brand guides, and you have working knowledge of the latest web-based technologies. You know what’s technically feasible;

  • You have worked with, or created Design Systems, online style and brand guides, and a working knowledge of web-based technologies. You know what’s technically feasible;

  • You are comfortable working in interactive design cycles (sprints) and you have experience with conducting user testing on your digital products;

  • You are familiar with accessibility standards and inclusive design, and you know how to apply those in your design work;

  • You are experienced in rapid prototyping, visualising data and creating dashboards.

Who are you?
To have a differentiating impact on our clients’ customers and their employees, you are foremost a creative. Someone who uses creativity and design to excite users. You place users at the heart of your design process. You believe design can change the world because you've made it happen. More than making products or services, your goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of its users.

We would love to hear from you if you meet most of the following characteristics and experiences:

  • At least 2+ years of experience as a UI and motion designer in a digital agency or consulting environment (or within an in-house digital products or services business);

  • You are a digital native, creative in everything you do, you are confident, and you dare to challenge the status quo;

  • You are equally passionate about talking to the customers of a company as presenting exciting designs to its CEO.

  • You continuously strive for simplicity, and seek to create delightful experiences for users, free of friction;

  • You seamlessly combine the characteristics of a creative and those of a client consultant.

Please include a link to your digital design portfolio with your application.
