Accenture delivers cutting edge digital solutions for the largest and most innovative companies. We leverage the latest cloud, mobile, robotics, artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies in Agile development environments where excellence is a standard.

To our clients our innovative solutions don’t only need to work well; they need to be fast. But you already knew that because you have been optimizing front end’s, tuning back-end’s and tweaking the performance of the interfaces in between up to the millisecond for some time. “This website is not available” will not happen when you’re in charge.

Your Job

As a performance engineer within the Accenture Quality Engineering group, you’re challenged by complex technical solutions. Your out-of-the-box thinking, and great communication skills allow you to get clarity quickly and suggest solutions for improvement. Non-functional requirements, performance test strategies, scripting, execution and result analysis are nothing new to you, and you know to apply them efficiently in a digital transformation process, agile delivery model and DevOps environment. Furthermore, you always make sure you’re keeping up with the latest developments in your field and like to share your insights with the rest of the community.

Does this apply to you; then take the next step in your career and join Accenture. Make a difference and help to deliver well designed, fast and stable IT systems. We’ll rely on you to provide great user experience to our clients and their end users.

As a Performance Engineer at Accenture you are able to:

  • Apply performance test knowledge independently at multiple clients simultaneously
  • Improve your (technical) test expertise on complex projects.
  • Work with the latest performance test methodologies, tools and in different delivery models (V-model, Agile, DevOps)
  • Grow into Subject Matter Expert, Test Architect or Management positions

Your Background

  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT or a related technology;
  • 3-8 years’ experience in software testing in complex environments;
  • ISTQB certified and Scum (PSM 1) certified is a bonus;
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong PRE)
  • Creative, analytical and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Knowledge of LoadRunner, Jmeter or NeoLoad
  • Familiar with APM tools like AppDynamics or Dynatrace
