Solution Architect


As a solution architect at KPMG, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining systems architecture that will meet business needs.

Your challenges
  • Facilitates discussions to translate the business requirements and present a technical solution.
  • Communicate complex topics regarding solutions to audiences with and without deep technical skills.
  • Provides best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design document.
  • Researches continuously current and emerging technologies and proposes changes where needed.
  • Assess and compare the business impact of relevant technical implementation options.

This is you
  • Six years experience in designing, developing & delivering solutions based on the MS Azure platform.
  • Possesses deep knowledge of all MS Power Platform products.
  • Professional certifications in Solution Architecture / Azure / Power Platform.
  • Sound knowledge of Agile Methodology, DevOps, Configuration Management and Automation Tools.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously and optimally.

Your role as
Solution Architect?

In this role you will be part of the Solution Design & Development function, strategically positioned to protect and guide the technology vision of KPMG. The function is responsible for adopting emerging technology faster, enhancing the digital backbone, providing guardrails, defining technology strategy, governance model, and architecture principles, improving trustworthiness in solution delivery, scaling solutions, and validating the roadmaps with stakeholders.

You take pragmatic, future-ready design choices balancing scope, time, cost, quality, risk while developing/modernizing complex, integrated software components.

You own the specifications and requirements into the architecture by ensuring end-to-end solution cohesion, correctness, and take responsibility for the design. Assesses and continually improve the architecture. Guides various teams throughout the implementation and provides regular updates to stakeholders. Possesses deep knowledge of all Power Platform products with the strength in identifying what can be delivered out of the box and when it is fitting to use custom development.
