Your impact

As a Junior Business Analyst you will be the linking pin between our clients, technology and design. As Business Analysts we act as proxy Product Owners, we empower the clients’ product owner and the team to solve complex problems – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers love, yet work for their business.

For this role we are looking for someone who understands technology, can easily zoom in for detail and zoom out to not to lose track of the big picture. Eliciting requirements and translating them into digestible and crystal-clear output is what you excel at. You are analytical by nature, curious about the ‘Why’ behind all reasoning and driven to find the answer. We value people that judge their success by the success of the team and the happiness of customers

What you'll be doing
  • Within the context of shaping, designing and building effective solutions that are valuable (our customers choose to buy or use), viable (the solution works within the many constraints of the business), usable (the user can figure out how to use) and feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement), you as a junior Business Analyst are there to empower the Product Owner to ensure the solution is both valuable and viable,

  • You build trusted relationships with the clients’ stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their business value and impact,

  • Facilitate the development of business requirements through design thinking workshops, interviews, and other appropriate methods and techniques

  • You break down the requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams, user flows, etc.,

  • You challenge stakeholders and business owners on the added value of the requirements, always asking 'Why', and propose alternatives,

  • Together with our Designers, you refine the wireframes, user flows and designs,

  • Advocate the use of (product) analytics and advise on a tracking plan,

  • During implementation you collaborate closely with our Quality Assurance testers to ensure we deliver high-quality products.

Your background

  • A completed IT related master’s degree. Ideal profiles have followed a study that combines both business and IT.

  • You have (study related) experience with topics around Digital.

  • Flexible and able to handle ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication skills, structured, strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English spoken and written.

  • And lastly, you are a proactive team player.
