The Associate Principal we look for works closely with colleagues to scope and deliver complex, customized and multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. At this level, there is an expectation that you will contribute to winning business, generally through extension of existing work but also as a ‘go-to’ person in smaller clients. You will lead relationships and/or projects of considerable complexity and will have the experience and expertise to engage and mobilize a client behind a particular idea or solution.

Emphasis will be on work in The Netherlands, but likely will be combined with work on international level.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Design and deliver high quality assessment & succession solutions.
  • Design leadership development solutions. The design work includes conducting interviews, diagnosis, identifying program objectives, developing learning architecture and instructional design (workbooks, slides, facilitator guides).
  • Deliver leadership development solutions, including (co-)facilitation and coaching.
  • Lead and manage medium sized projects or complex work streams.
  • Involve subject matter experts and more senior resources as needed and manage their involvement in the project.
  • Manage small client relationships and/or support relationship development as part of the account in order to win work.
  • Contribute to winning profitable business, proposal writing, pricing, shaping opportunities, pitch preparation and opportunity spotting in clients.
  • Develop deeper expertise in both Assessment & Succession and Leadership Development, as well as being able to discuss other Korn Ferry (KF) offerings (high level) in order to draw on appropriate practice expertise to provide business solutions, including those that may require inter-service line approaches.
  • Continue to develop own consulting skills, business understanding and expertise.

Skills & Experience 

  • Significant (+5 years) relevant work experience in a professional services firm and/or a client HR job.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following delivery areas: design of development journeys/trainings, program facilitation, assessments.
    Ambition to develop in the other delivery areas.
