Job description
Quint is seeking a senior, experienced consultant to deliver IT (service) management consulting and training services for our clients. The ideal candidate will also have experience publishing thought leadership material (white papers and articles), speaking at conferences and playing an active role within the ITSM community to help further grow brand awareness and visibility of Quint in North America. Duties and Responsibilities
IT management consulting and training services activities may include:

  • Delivering strategic, executive, process or Improvement Workshops and associated trainings as subject matter expert and change leader

  • Executing ITSM maturity assessments, gap analysis and subsequent roadmap development

  • Delivering Quantitative Performance Analysis

  • Delivering and/or managing process design, process implementation and process improvement

  • Supporting or managing service management tool selection

  • Providing organizational change management consulting and guidance (SME and trusted advisor)

  • Designing and implementing metrics and balanced scorecard solutions

  • Designing and implementing IT service performance improvement programs

Qualifications/Skill Set Requirements
Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory and capable level. The requirements listed below are representative of the skills and capabilities required. Ideal candidates must have a senior practitioner background, with exposure to core IT functions, practices and an understanding of IT operations. In depth knowledge and practical experience of ITIL, ISO and COBIT is a requirement.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher formal education.

  • ITIL v3 Expert, ISO 20.000 Consultant or COBIT CGEIT (or equivalent).

  • Additional Six Sigma certification, PMP, or Lean IT desirable but not required.

  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant working experience

Additional skills

  • Hands on experience in (process) management of an infrastructure or application services organization (either internal or external service provider)

  • Demonstrable experience in leading an organization through an organizational change process, hands-on experience with Lean implementation is appreciated

  • Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure of application development management processes

  • Experience with workshop facilitation

  • Results driven and outcome-oriented

  • Independent self starter, yet also a team player

  • Sensitive to organizational context and culture

  • Acts as key contributor in complex/critical, and potential high pressure environments
