Job Description & Summary

Looking for the next step in your career as a Salesforce Consultant? PwC NL’s Front Office Transformation is rapidly expanding, as more and more organisations discover our unique and successful approach to digital transformations.

We are looking for talented, motivated go-getters looking to take the next step in their career. As a Senior Salesforce Consultant it will go without saying that you possess excellent analytical and communication skills, but we also expect you to stand out for your technological knowledge, experience and affinity. In this role you are responsible for the customer-oriented design and implementation of solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Who are we?

We are a diverse and committed tech team (T) that works closely with PwC consultants specialising in business (B) and experience (X) issues: we call this PwC's BXT approach . We have a single, shared mission: to achieve a sustainable impact with and for our clients. We iron out and improve complex organisational issues. We create value. Our team zooms in on the technological aspect of the issue (with Salesforce as the lead technology). With our B- and X-colleagues we see to it that strategic customer goals are achieved and that new technologies are adopted. We work hard, are result-driven and proud of our implementations, but we also make time for having fun together with activities such as Netflix parties, game nights, pub quizzes and volunteer work.

What will you be doing?

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team. Your experience will be reflected throughout the life cycle of projects. This means:

  • Pre-Sales (approx. 20%): together with the team you will look for new opportunities, create and give demos, analyse and study RFPs and help to prepare commercial proposals. You will be working closely with the Client Success Managers of PwC and Salesforce.
  • Implementation (approx. 60%): in this phase you will work together with the project manager and the team: mining documents and user stories, asking critical questions and facilitating discovery & design workshops. Everything it takes to focus sharply on your customers’ wishes and requirements. After that you take the lead in designing the optimal solution with the help of architects and other disciplines in the team. During this process you keep a sharp eye on what can and cannot be done with the standard Salesforce solutions. Where necessary, you call in developers for customised solutions. Finally, together with your colleagues, you configure and incorporate the chosen solution, usually concluding this phase with end-to-end testing, migrations and preparing documentation.
  • Post-Implementation (approx. 20%): this phase centres on user acceptance and adoption. You provide training, direction, coaching and guidance. In this phase you also make connections for follow-up and improvement projects.

PwC is a large international organisation and most of our clients are large, long-established organisations. For that reason the ideal candidate must feel at home in an ambitious, dynamic and matrix-structured setting and be a good fit for our often complex and prestigious clients. To us, it’s all about long-term partnerships, getting results and achieving high customer satisfaction levels.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate has:

  • A higher professional education or university level of thinking and doing (Business Management, Economics, Marketing, IT, or equivalent) and in-depth knowledge of the various Salesforce products, the CRM landscape and data structures.
  • Demonstrable end-to-end experience with Salesforce implementations, integrations and data migrations, preferably at large and complex organisations.
  • One or more Salesforce Certificates
  • And a driving licence.

  • Communicative and a good team player: you listen actively and communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers, the project team and other stakeholders (verbally and in writing, in Dutch and English). You share your knowledge pro-actively (internally and externally), give presentations and demos and find it easy to interact with different levels and personalities.
  • Analytical and facilitative: you have a natural curiosity, critical thinking skills and are decisive. You like to get your teeth into problems and fathom complicated issues. Where necessary, you facilitate group sessions focus even more sharply on the customer's needs.
  • Creative and hands-on: you are energetic, resourceful and are easily able to adapt to ever-changing situations. You translate your analyses into concrete and realistic solution designs.
  • Able to take the initiative, responsible and service-oriented: we expect an engaged, active and customer-oriented attitude. You take on work independently, work in projects and deliver on time and according to agreed criteria.

What do we offer?

We offer access to the global PwC network in which you can share knowledge, ideas and questions with experienced professionals in your own area and other disciplines. As well as offering excellent primary and secondary employment conditions, we especially appreciate:

  • Flexibility: we are a fast-growing organisation and are constantly on the move. This calls for flexibility on the part of our employees, but also means that we offer a wide range of flexible employment schemes.
  • Development.: PwC offers a global framework that supports the development of result-oriented and value-driven employees. We refer to this as the PwC Professional;.
  • Diversity: we believe that diversity makes us stronger as a company. This puts us in a better position to solve important issues and deliver more value to our customers. We encourage an inclusive culture where people can be themselves, are valued for their strengths and are given what they need to get the best out of themselves.
  • Sustainability: your work has a direct impact on society and you act accordingly. You like to contribute to solving social issues; corporate sustainability (CS) is an indispensable part of your service and your approach to work;
  • An appropriate salary and extensive terms of employment, including a "well-being budget". This is a personal annual budget of € 750 to be spent on your health, such as: mindfulness, sports, lifestyle coaching, wellness, a second screen for your home workplace and noise canceling headphones.
