We are looking for:
Senior Consultants, having at least 5 years of work experience in fact-based consulting (or similar) and proven affinity with (agro-commodities) sustainability.
And specifically, we are looking for changemakers who get energized by:
- Taking the lead in delivering strategic and complex projects that drive structural, sustainable change in agricultural commodity sectors;
- Going the extra mile to serve our clients by creating long-term value for their organization and their stakeholders, with a focus on building long-term partnerships;
- Taking the lead in acquisition, business development, and building your own ‘part of the business’—bringing in your own relevant network is preferable;
- Advising senior-level counterparts, from the strategic to the practical, and investing in a culture of feedback and trust;
- Building a legacy in the company by playing an active role in the internal management of the organization, and further developing the strategy that will help the team and the company grow and excel;
- Inspire others through providing guidance, inspiration, feedback, and a strong sense of purpose.
Particularly for this vacancy, affinity with corporate sustainability efforts, commodity markets and supply chains, monetary value of sustainability, quantitative analysis, and/or data modelling is an advantage.

Who we are and what do we do:
NewForesight is a sustainability consultancy firm on a mission to solve complex sustainability challenges at scale. We have positive impact through the work we do with our clients, including:
- Providing our clients with strategic advice on the continuous improvement of their sustainability strategy and real-world impact;
- Conducting comprehensive analyses to understand the root-cause of clients’ issues, and the efficiency of their interventions;
- Developing fact-based innovative approaches, methodologies, and tools to enable fact-based decision making on sustainability challenges;
- Convening stakeholders in commodity sectors around a common sustainability vision and supporting the development of joint action.
Our Senior Consultants are expected to have the following profile:
- Have a relevant Master’s degree or PhD, 5+ years of experience, of which several years were spent in strategic positions in the sustainability sector and/or in strategy consulting (with a preference for both);
- Are thought leaders in commodity sector(s) or specific sustainability themes;
- Have a large and active network in (a) relevant sector(s);
- Have excellent client interaction skills, a collaborative working style, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership capabilities;
- Have experience in leading teams and helping them excel, where they balance a high quality of work, a strong client relationship, and the growth & development of the team;
- Can approach problems from a systemic point of view as well as from the position of different stakeholders;
- Respect, appreciate, and can convene different personality styles, backgrounds, and cultures;
- Have the ambition to be part of the growth plan of NewForesight for the coming years, as we will be investing heavily in your growth and development.
