Disruptive start-ups, insurTech, Recovery & Resolution Planning, complex laws and regulations and demanding clients. Just a couple of developments that play a significant role in the insurance and pension sector. Our clients are faced with interesting challenges: "How do we meet the requirements of legislation and regulations and at the same time bring down the costs", "What opportunities does RegTech offer us?" And "What does agile work mean for the roles and responsibilities of the Risk & Compliance function?”

Would you like to help clients realize their strategy in a controlled way by helping them to respond effectively to changes in legislation and regulations and at the same time meet the expectations of their stakeholders? Does it appeal to you to be busy with the opportunities and possibilities of new technologies such as Robotics, AI and Blockchain? Do you want to grow, make an impact, get the best out of yourself and your colleagues and do you have your own view on topics such as governance, risk management and compliance? Then you are the manager we are searching for to strengthen our rapidly growing Risk & Compliance Consulting practice.

Responsibilities

The assignments that you execute are complex and challenging and will ensure there is a continuous development of your professional knowledge and advisory skills. The solutions that you come up with and implement are creative and will help the client to move forward. You will be responsible for managing a team. You will work closely together with colleagues from other fields within PwC (think of: Finance, Actuarial, Technology, Operations and Strategy). You also work in close coordination with the international PwC Risk & Regulation network. With this combination we make the difference with our clients.

In addition to the direct work for our clients, you are actively involved in business development and writing (technical) articles.

Requirements

  • You work in the line organization of an insurer or pension administrator or you have experience as a consultant, we expect you to have a fresh approach on risk management. Just like your future colleagues at PwC, you are enthusiastic, driven and you combine a sharp mind with communication skills.
  • You have completed a Master's degree, preferably in a technical, financial-economic and / or legal direction;
  • You have approximately 3-8 years of work experience at the cutting edge of Risk & Regulation, Technology and Operating Models in the insurance and / or pension sector;
  • You find it challenging to constantly analyze new issues in a practical and creative way and to solve them in environments where technology plays a decisive role;
  • You have the ambition to expand your knowledge of the pension and insurance sector and you have the passion to thoroughly understand substantive topics;
  • You have experience with (project-based) team management;
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch & English;
  • You find it challenging to work in an international context.
