Job Description & Summary

As an ethical hacker in our Offensive Security team, you will spend your week legally breaking into computer networks, websites, mobile devices, OT and IoT environments. Your aim will be to provide specific recommendations to our leading clients (mostly top 500 organisations in the public and private sectors) to help them keep hackers out.

As we aim to rapidly grow our Cyber Security, Forensics & Privacy practice, we are looking for experienced consultants who are passionate about how strategy and technology can improve the role of cyber security, privacy and data protection in our digital world.

This team works on creating a more security society for major International and local organisations. Together with 150 professionals in the Netherlands you could work on leading and cutting edge projects covering the whole scope of Cyber Security from; From Ethical Hacking to Threat Detection and Forensic Research both preventing and solving cybercrime.  Also covering Privacy, Compliance, Policy & Governance to Security Architecture and implementation, to Identity and Access Management.

Responsibilities

You will be part of the Offensive Security team which solves complex IT issues. You will break into systems with the aim of improving our clients’ security. You will be working on web applications, internal networks, IoT, OT and mobile devices.

We always work in teams where coaching plays a key role. Together with the senior member of the project, we exceed our client’s expectations by finding just a little more vulnerabilities than our competitors. It is no surprise that our team is growing rapidly - you will contribute to this growth with your skills and ideas and by sharing knowledge.

Requirements

You can apply MS08-067 with your eyes closed and you also know everything there is to know about EternalBlue. People in your circle of friends call you to check whether they have received a phishing email. You have the mindset of a hacker and you do not give up if antivirus intercepts your payload. We find this drive and mindset more important in our hackers than any specific previous training.

However, we do naturally require you to meet certain minimum requirements:

  • You have around 1-2 years of work experience with carrying out ethical hacking tests and/or red teaming on websites and networks;
  • You enjoy developing yourself further in the field of ethical hacking;
  • You hold certifications such as CISSP, GPEN, or OSCP, or would like to achieve these;
  • You are interested and curious about studying and implementing technically innovative initiatives, ideas and concepts;
  • You are able to communicate your security knowledge and experience in a comprehensible manner to administrators and colleagues in the team;
  • You have graduated from a university or university of applied sciences;
  • You are analytical and pragmatic and have good communication skills;
  • You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English;
  • You want to invest in your own development and that of others;
  • You enjoy working in a team.
