As a manager, you focus primarily on advising and supervising complex and large-scale transformation programs and projects within the national government that have a large change management component. This can be both issues within organizations as well as in a chain context.

Responsibilities

As an entrepreneurial manager, you are part of a team of professionals working in close collaboration with clients on challenging and politically complex social issues.

You will mainly focus on advising and supervising complex and (large-scale) transformation programs and projects in the public domain that have a large change management component.

In these processes our roles are very different, from change management, leadership development to team development. The activities include directing on a coaching program to designing and facilitating creative interventions for small and (very) large groups. Translating vision into a practical and people-oriented approach is always the challenge here. We do this, with each other, by being sincerely interested, listening and continuing to ask. Critical, independent and focused on a sustainable result.

  • You have extensive experience with complex and large-scale transformation processes at public organizations and know how to place them in the political strategic framework of the organization and the chain in which they operate.
  • You have an integrated view of organizations and chains and the impact of transformations on all facets of an organization (including leadership, support, organization culture, structure, working methods) and chains (including management, cooperation and information exchange).
  • In these processes our roles are very diverse, from change management, leadership development to team development. The activities comprise directing on a coaching program to designing and facilitating creative interventions for small and (very) large groups. Translating vision into a practical and people-oriented approach is hereby always the challenge.  We do this, with each other, by being genuinely interested, listening and continuing to ask. Critical, independent and focused on a sustainable result.
  • You act as a sparring partner and are able to connect at different levels, with directors, (top) managers and professionals.
  • You are able to design and manage complex transformations effectively with clients and know how to motivate, stimulate and coach them constructively to fulfill their own role in the transformation
  • You know the trends and developments within the Public Sector and you help to convert these into new contacts and concrete services to customers. You have a strong network in the market and you know how to develop and maintain it.
  • For each assignment you work in a team that, in addition to fellow advisers, often consists of key officials from our PS customers. You will coach these teams and are responsible for the smooth running of the change process. You coach other advisors in their development. This way you create clear added value with every assignment.

Requirements

You are an experienced change consultant and project manager and you are ready for a new, challenging step in your career. You want to develop yourself, share your knowledge, expand your network and get the best out of yourself and your colleagues.

  • You have a completed education at an academic level.
  • You have approximately 6-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably at a reputable consultancy firm and / or in a public organization
  • You have proven commercial and advisory skills and are capable of further expand the services of our advisory group in the public sector on the basis of knowledge, experience and relationship network in the public sector.
  • You have experience in successfully converting leads to projects.
  • You have experience in team designing, guiding and managing large-scale change programs within the Public Sector, preferably within the National Government.
  • You have demonstrable experience in providing training and are a credible trainer.
  • You have an enterprising and result-oriented attitude.
  • You are a sparkling and strong personality and have excellent communication skills, in word and writing.
  • You believe in acting internally and externally with integrity and take your own responsibility in this;
  • You are curious about the developments within your field and are driven to make a difference with your team;
  • You can empathize with your colleagues and stakeholders and you have an eye for the added value of everyone;
  • You like to work in a team, where the different ideas and perspectives are included in the work;
  • You are innovative, entrepreneurial and not afraid from challenging the status quo.
