As the Health & Benefits (H&B) Non-North America Growth Strategist, you will be co-responsible (in partnership with the H&B Non-NA Growth Leader) for the continuation of developing and driving execution on the growth strategy for H&B business outside of North America. Responsibilities include coordinating/ cross-pollinating successful growth strategies across H&B globally, as well as  developing and sustaining a global market leading configurable benefits delivery platform that supports employee choice, ease of use and appreciation. This includes the creation of global, regional and local best practices regarding product vision & road map development, sales and marketing, and vendor engagement and management.


The Role

 

This role will support the H&B Growth Leader on strategic efforts to define & execute on new opportunities for achieving competitive advantage, including the provision of periodic Green Box progress reports. In this role you will

  • collaborate closely with business, vendors, and other involved parties to establish and evolve the vision for the Benefits Access/ Marketplace product. Use this vision to influence the product roadmap and enhancement priorities
  • develop an intimate understanding of the BA/M customer and the employee user, their frustrations and problems, their needs, and how those can best be addressed through the product’s roadmap – identify gaps and recommend new feature priorities
  • understand the BA/M product features as they are released and bridge the gap between the ‘what’ and the customer “need” by creating appropriate sales and marketing materials
  • partner to analyze and predicts competitive and market forces that will shape the future of the H&B (non-NA) business
  • responsible to seek opportunities to cross pollinate Health & Benefits contact center approach to generate relevant leads
  • develop a framework and approach to identify & prioritize technology (front end) business needs (incl. local prototypes vs global ‘industrials’)
  • support sales pitches for large Regional / Global Benefit Management & BA/M opportunities
  • develop and support global / regional sales campaigns & digital marketing to strengthen brand & perceived value (of enhanced value propositions) through also an online state of the art market presence
  • co-responsible for cross-pollinateing successful growth strategies across countries
  • drive the reporting of sales and pipeline on consistent basis globally and locally to increase accountability (incl. measuring & rewarding new sales & renewal sales)


The Requirements
  • Global experience in the insurance, brokerage and flexible benefits industries 
  • Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues and propose solutions (incl. design thinking)
  • Ability to employ and understand digital technology and social media and identifies new uses to improve business outcomes
  • Ability to concisely communicate key issues/results in a manner appropriate to the audience, including the executive level
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to collaborate, negotiate, build productive relationships, and create alignment with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong gravitas and well developed written and oral communication skill in English
  • Demonstrable ability to define processes and related support systems
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in benefits design and delivery and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches
  • Ability to work and deliver to demanding deadlines
  • Comfortable with change and uncertainty and a strong ability to work through ambiguity
  • Excellent agile planning and organizing skills
  • May require significant international travel as necessary
