EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services team (F&IS) unit is growing exponentially and is currently seeking the right candidate for an excellent career opportunity in the field of investigation, compliance & technology. The following positions are vacant:

  • Senior Advisor

  • Manager

with a background in/ experience with (one of) the following areas: ethics & compliance, (financial) investigations, data analytics, e-discovery and cyber-/IT forensics.

 

The opportunity

Together with a project team, you will be helping clients to manage business-critical issues effectively, such as: fraud, bribery and corruption, compliance breaches, whistle-blowing, regulatory investigations, improper conduct by third parties, contract negotiations and commercial disputes, and anti-corruption due diligence. Our investigation and compliance services are well connected with forensic technology solutions encompassing Data Science, eDiscovery, Forensic Data Analytics and Cyber-/IT Forensics.

 

You will work with clients across all industries. Since we work with such a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, you can expect to be part of a wide range of projects, making this a great place to enhance personal experience, your technical skills and business knowledge.

 

Your key responsibilities

It’s no exaggeration to say you’ll never be doing the same task for too long. You’re likely to balance your time between directly liaising with our clients to understand their needs and draw on your acquired knowledge of fraud assessment, monitoring and prevention to identify issues with your clients. It’s all about using your (technical) skills to creatively assess and resolve our clients’ needs from the front lines. That means speaking up with innovative ideas that challenge the status quo.

 

As a senior advisor, you will take a more leading and expert role within a project team, guiding junior advisors and actively contribute to the success of a project. You will work closely with more senior colleagues on a project.

 

As a manager, you will act as a first point of contact for the client and you will be responsible for the overall project management. Your expertise and project management skills is of great value for the client and the project team.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Master’s degree in for example Accounting, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Law, Criminology or Business Administration

  • For a Senior Advisor position: 3 – 5 years of related working experience

  • For an Manager position: 5 – 9 years of related working experience

  • A team player with an investigative mindset

  • Strong interpersonal skills in a diverse range of situations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English

  • Willingness to travel on assignments

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Previous working experience in a consulting or professional services organisation

  • A post academic degree, for example RA, CFA of CFE
