Your ambitions

BearingPoint is currently looking for an experienced business account professional who would like to step into an entrepreneurial consultancy firm by joining our Digital Strategy (D&S) team. The main focus in this role is delivering client value and driving our business growth. Advising and challenging C-level professionals on digital strategic and complex issues and how to actually make it happen, is your passion. You manage and expand long term relationships with flair and have the ability to make the difference that our clients are looking for.

Your role

As Business Account manager you will work on business development at our target clients within the Telecom, Utilities, Infra, FMCG, Retail and Financial Services industries. You will bring our integrated Digital BearingPoint 'point of view' and offerings to the relevant senior client stakeholders and bridge the client challenges and internal BearingPoint knowledge domains. You maintain the long-term growth agenda for the selected clients and work frequently at the client locations to collect the latest insights on their challenges and to propose new value adding solutions.

Both externally and internally you will drive business development and sales, and grow our visibility and recognition as Digital Leader in the relevant industries.

Requirements

Your responsibilities

  • Creating account plans for our strategic accounts
  • Translating client’s long term (Digital) roadmap into concrete project opportunities as first step in their transformation
  • ‘Owning’ the value agenda of the key clients, to be one step ahead in our advisory
  • Matching internal solution development with existing client challenges and mobilize solution teams
  • Spotting and generating new sales opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Growing our network of trusted relationships, inspiring our clients constantly with new innovations and insights, delivering adaptive and intelligent solutions, and performing beyond expectations are key to your success
  • Driving incremental revenue growth through upselling & cross selling at existing clients and attracting new clients
  • Working closely with the different solution teams to support proposition development
  • Creating proposals to complex client issues
  • Focusing on continuously improving client satisfaction and maintaining the senior stakeholder network at key clients
  • Actively participating in achieving team results and in developing activities for our growing practice in the European BearingPoint network

Qualifications

  • A relevant Master's degree in Applied Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Physics or other relevant studies
  • Proven capability in selling, deal shaping and deal closing for innovative digital solutions in the Telecom, Utilities, Infra, FMCG, Retail and Financial Services industries
  • Experience with Dutch based clients and a deep understanding of new Digital technology and innovation
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, ability to motivate and engage individuals and teams
  • Excellent communicative skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
