About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Consultant for our Security Engineering team. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to translate complex business challenges into effective security solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial services industry and the capability to engage with senior stakeholders. In this role you will:
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with financial institutions to understand their security challenges and advise on innovative technology solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Lead on- and offshore teams in implementing security solutions, ensuring they meet best practices and regulatory requirements.
- IAM Architecture Development: Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for cloud environments in line with security policies and standards.
- Security Strategy Formulation: Develop comprehensive security strategies encompassing user authentication, authorization, SSO, and MFA.
- Mentorship and Development: Coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell security services, engaging with CTOs and CIOs to drive growth.

What You Bring
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent, with 5–7 years in a security-focused role.
- Certified CISSP or equivalent, with a strong understanding of cloud platform security standards (e.g., AZ-500, SC-100, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
- In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, including user authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management, along with experience in developing IAM architecture for cloud environments.
- Proven experience in designing secure access control models (RBAC, ABAC) and architecting solutions for SSO, MFA, and identity federation.
- Experience in automating IAM processes and integrating IAM solutions with cloud services to ensure consistent identity management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to lead on- and offshore teams and client workshops while coaching colleagues.
- Strong advisory competencies to clearly explain complex security concepts and a commercial mindset for cross- and upselling.
- Good knowledge of the financial services industry or other regulated sectors, and confidence in engaging with CTOs, CIOs, and senior IT management.
