As we aim to rapidly grow our Cyber Security, Forensics & Privacy practice, we are looking for experienced consultants who are passionate about how strategy and technology can improve the role of cyber security, privacy and data protection in our digital world.

Our Cyber Security, Forensics & Privacy practice (CF&P)

This team works on creating a more security society for major International and local organisations. Together with 150 professionals in the Netherlands you could work on leading and cutting edge projects covering the whole scope of Cyber Security from; From Ethical Hacking to Threat Detection and Forensic Research both preventing and solving cybercrime. Also covering Privacy, Compliance, Policy & Governance to Security Architecture and implementation, to Identity and Access Management.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 1 year of experience in IT Risk Management including experience in Cyber Security & Privacy.
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance/Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics Mathematics, Regulatory Compliance, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics and/or other business fields of study.

Certification(s) Preferred: Obtained or demonstrates an active pursuit of one or more of the following certifications: Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certifications, or other related certifications.

Knowledge Preferred

Demonstrates some level of knowledge and/or proven success in a role that emphasizes technical knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Cyber Security and/or Privacy, IT Audit, IT Risk/Compliance Management, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas:

  • Technical and operational cyber security, privacy and/or IT risk knowledge;
  • Standard industry practices relating to the above areas in order to assist clients with assessing their posture and improving their program
  • Fundamental knowledge of common cyber security, privacy or technology industry standards/ regulations (e.g. ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800 series, COBIT, PCI-DSS, ITIL, HIPAA / HITECH, EU Safe Harbor, CANSPAM), especially as it relates to building a program and/or managing internal controls, risk assessments, business process and internal IT control testing or operational auditing
  • Exposure to the common issues facing clients who provide products and services in several sectors that include, but are not limited to, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Media and Entertainment, and Energy
  • Interfacing with clients on control solutions; and, 
  • Leading the planning and execution of projects in the following areas: cyber security, privacy, risk management, compliance, IT audit, and / or IT risk management; and
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as cloud, Internet of Things (IoT) and advanced analytics, is a plus. 

 Skills preferred 

Demonstrates some level of abilities and/or proven success with leveraging creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), where necessary, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, in conjunction with the following:

  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts 
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data
  • Prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
  • Creating and contributing to a positive working environment through managing workload and respecting the work-life quality of other team members
  • Clarifying and understanding of team roles and responsibility and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback
  • Staying informed of industry specific trends and commitment to sharing knowledge with the team; and,
    - Utilizing available technical resources and tools to research and expand one's sphere of knowledge to enhance work product, and to remain up to date on client and firm hot topics, while sharing the knowledge amongst the team, where applicable.
