Your Job

As a Consultant in the Finance Platform Advisory Practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a newly formed team in Accenture Technology on projects for large clients. You will help them to achieve their business goals whilst supporting their growth. You will work together with your Accenture colleagues to identify their challenges and collaborate to develop solutions that not only solve these challenges but also deliver business value. Your day-to-day job consists of:

• Helping our clients deliver value in their end-to-end Finance and Business transformation programs by translating their digital strategic roadmap into technology solutions;

• Advise clients with your detailed knowledge of business processes and Connected Solutions (platforms accelerating or enhancing digital transformation in domains such as Enterprise Performance Management, Closing & Consolidation or Finance Operations);

• Use your Finance domain knowledge to lead client discussions and workshops and translate user stories into functional specifications;

• Coordinate and execute project deliverables throughout a transformation lifecycle; defining, analyzing and mapping business processes, organizational elements and related applications. You will be working closely with systems integration teams to provide the best solution for and to the client;

• Support the client teams with the testing, deployment and adoption of improved business processes based on new technology solutions;

• Be granted the space to grow, learn and share your opinion in designing and developing the latest tech Connected Solutions in the Finance domain for our clients, including Anaplan, OneStream, Blackline and other connected Finance solutions;

• Enjoy working together in often complex project environments with multiple involved parties; the client counterparts, the Connected Solution vendors, ERP software vendors and Accenture Colleagues from different teams;

• Contribute to business development and new value propositions for clients, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful Finance Platform Advisory practice.

Your background

• Master’s degree in a relevant science (e.g. Business/IT, Economics, Econometrics, (Corporate) Finance, Computer/Data Science or Engineering) with good results

• 3-5 years of experience in Finance processes and ERP or IT connected platform solutions, including good conceptual and analytical skills to manage integrations;

• Consulting experience with client exposure and relationship-building at different organizational levels;

• Deep knowledge of any of the Finance domains, e.g. planning & budgeting, closing & consolidation, finance operations, shared services, financial reporting & analysis etc.

• Experience with at least one Finance platform implementation (ERP or Connected Solution) and willingness to expand your knowledge to various connect platform solutions such as Anaplan, Onestream, Blackline, Highradius and others;

• Proactive, willing to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and further explore these with our clients;

• Analytical thinker with a can-do mentality, contributing with ideas and attitude to build the best Finance Platform Advisory practice in the Netherlands.
