The role
You will be the Business Controller/ Business Partner of the local Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) leadership for Benelux. You will be supporting the leadership by creation and timely delivery of financial, operational and management information with supporting insights and analysis to help drive successful financial performance relative to the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the local finance teams in Benelux and Head Quarters finance teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate management results and translation to US GAAP
- Prepare monthly performance management reporting, forecasts, annual budgets as well as input into the financials supporting the longer-term strategic plans
- Develop insightful and comprehensive analysis of monthly, quarter to date and year to date results against plan, forecast and prior year so that the business leadership understands what the risks and opportunities are and assists in managing internal and external stakeholders accordingly
- Provide insights on the underlying drivers of Revenues such as revenue trends, retention analysis and new business validation through the CRM Tool and use this information to prepare Revenue forecasts
- Understand in partnership with HR the movement of colleague FTE to reliably forecast future development of Compensation and Benefits as this is a significant cost driver
- Prepare Investment cases to support growth proposals and challenge as appropriate the Return on Investment
- Prepare financial business cases for any transformation initiatives and support the on-going monitoring of these
- Prepare and co-ordinate Quarterly Operational Review Reporting for discussion with the Western Europe stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy, and control as business support engages with the respective Finance functions across all Finance processes
