
Secure Connectivity Chapter Lead EMA
We are looking for an experienced Secure Connectivity Chapter Lead EMA to join our rapidly expanding team. This role will lead several and diverse engineer team(s) in mostly global projects ensuring delivery of applications and/or service components with highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
- Staying up to date how security is evolving with the cloud;
- Find out what Software Defined Networking can bring to the table;
- Find out if we can apply Reliability Engineering paradigm to networks and security;
- Find out if DevOps and CI/CD pipelines make things more or less secure.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT work experience
- Experienced in working in a matrix management structured organization
- Extensive knowledge and advanced understanding of Palo Alto Technologies and Azure Networking services
- Firewall and network management qualifications (PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSE or FNSE (or equivalent)
- Strong familiarity with routing, switching, and bridging in both LAN & WAN environments
Secure Connectivity Chapter Lead EMA?
The Chapter Lead Secure Connectivity leads and develops a high-performing Security & Networking Operations team to drive the ITS Global group's agenda and achieve its business objectives. Primarily this role focuses on Palo Alto technologies, WAN technologies, Azure Networking, Azure Firewalls, Squid Proxies, Infoblox, F5, Layer7 & ISAM. This role will provide leadership to ensure effective performance management, succession planning, and the development of the in region team. The team will apply industry best practices and ensure consistency across service providers in their delivery and support of services and applications. Success in this role will be defined by a solid foundation of support applied consistently throughout the regional organization through collaboration with the delivery group and Squad leader.
You are accountable for the Secure Connectivity Chapter team leadership within the region. Delivering the Chapters' vision and objectives, provides input to set priorities and strategic/tactical direction based on chapter and regional goals .
Accountable for a (mixed KPMG staff/contractors) team of a total of 4+ FTEs. Responsible for managing a proactive working relationship with stakeholders and management. Maintain relationships with the business functions and all ITS Global teams to ensure a smooth transition of Business Solutions and services into steady state operations.
You provide support of the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter (Palo Alto Technologies, KNET WAN, Azure Networking, Azure Firewalls, Squid Proxies, Layer 7 & ISAM) including regular on-call support at the weekends during the normal working hours for the region using a follow-the-sun handover process between regions. Identify & implement continual improvements to the services operated by the Secure Connectivity Chapter (Palo Alto Technologies, KNET WAN, Azure Networking, Azure Firewalls, Squid Proxies, Layer 7 & ISAM)
