Our organization is intentionally flat and it is not uncommon for partners and newly hired undergraduates to be working closely on accounts and projects. This is not the traditional consulting model where the senior partner takes the glory and the junior consultant does the hard work. What you’ll do in your role

All consultants at BTS are asked to do three things - develop client relationships, design solutions and deliver our programmes.  It’s the balance that shifts as seniority grows.  In the Business Analyst role, the focus is purely on design and delivery, with the intention very much being about embedding you in our work and help you grow into the business.

You’ll do this, working within a small internal team, to partner with leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations - Global 100 and 500 companies. You’ll learn how their business works and what their strategies are, and you’ll be shaping the leadership capabilities of their senior management.

Variety is key in all our roles.  You’ll work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. We’re delivering most of our work virtually at the moment, although we do see face-to-face delivery returning in the future and when it does you’ll travel approximately 25-50% of the time.

The rest of your time is spent creating the amazing experiences we provide for our clients. Interviewing leaders, conducting research and analysis, testing programs, laughing. You’ll laugh a lot and have a lot of fun. And this is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day.

What we're looking for

Our Business Analyst positions are designed as entry-level graduate roles where we would look for some work experience of any nature and/or a relevant internship placement. 

We’re also hiring at a Senior Business Analyst level, where we would be looking at a graduate plus proven experience in relevant post-graduate employment.

We’ve successfully hired candidates from a range of academic disciplines, but whatever you’d studied you'll need to be able to demonstrate business and financial acumen. We are looking for analytically minded individuals.  You'll be curious, creative, collaborative and credible. You'll bring a sense of confidence and professionalism and an interest in working with people in business. 

You’ll be able to communicate effectively with everyone you meet and skilled in leveraging a variety of communication channels, especially those requiring digital architecture. A desire and ability to present to a room that might have 100+ smart, eager people in it is a must – whether virtually or in person.

You'll hold a good degree and be willing to travel as indicated above.

Please be aware that in order to qualify for our Business Analyst position in Amsterdam you MUST be fluent in Dutch as well as English.
