EY’s Global Learning function designs, develops and deploys technical and non-technical learning to EY professionals across the world to help them grow their skills and accelerate their careers. In the Deployment team, we are responsible for delivering an exceptional learning experience to our learners through the planning and delivery of high-quality learning programs and activities.

We are a dynamic, virtual team of Global Learning Deployment professionals working from 20 diverse geographical locations across the world. We are looking for a colleague who will bring new ideas and fresh pair of eyes to our work across EY.

The opportunity
This job posting offers a permanent role in the Global Learning Deployment Team as the Learning Deployment Manager - Assistant Director - for Assurance.

Under NextWave a priority for Assurance is the growth of our FAAS practice. To drive this a FAAS curriculum made up of core learning and specialized skills for solution sets is being built out. We are seeking a motivated Learning Deployment manager to work closely with Global and regional learning team members to develop and implement the deployment strategy for this learning. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to support other Assurance learning priorities.

This role is crucial in bringing the learning content to life for learners across EY, helping EY professionals continuously learn and develop and contributes to EY purpose of Building a better working world.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment of Global, Area and multi-Region learning courses for the Assurance service line through multiple delivery channels and platforms (VCs, webcasts, eLearning, physical classroom etc). While this role will support a number of activities in the Global Assurance Learning Deployment team one of your main priorities will be the development and implementation of a deployment strategy for the FAAS curriculum including the deployment of FAAS Quality and Risk Management learning, ongoing curriculum for FAAS staff, seniors, managers, and senior managers and specialized curriculum for solution sets such as Climate Change and Sustainability Services.
  • Lead the deployment of ad hoc global deployments for priority Assurance deployments
  • Manage various Global deployment projects for Assurance and support EY Regions in their local deployment
  • Oversee the execution of agreed deployment plans through effective planning, budgeting, and pre- and post-event support in line with agreed deployment standards and processes.
  • Work with a virtual team of Learning Deployment Specialists in diverse geographical locations – manage work allocation, provide support, guidance and coaching, resolve issues or conflicts, support individual learning and development.
  • Contribute to the effective measurement of learning solutions for the portfolio and seek to continuously improve internal practices to best in class standards.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills - ability to set priorities, allocate team resources and budgets to maximize consumption of learning solutions, operationally reprioritize as needed.
  • Strong people leadership skills - ability to effectively manage and supervise resources with diversity and inclusiveness, ability to resolve issues or challenges as they arise.
  • Strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills – work effectively with colleagues and teams in different geographical locations and ability to build strong relationships in a multicultural environment.
  • Knowledge of learning deployment processes and standards a great advantage.
  • Knowledge of Assurance business a great advantage

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Demonstrable experience of one or more of the following areas: Learning, Talent Development, HR, Events management, Consulting. An Assurance background with previous involvement and passion for Learning can be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects in parallel in an organized and coordinated way.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in dynamic, fast-paced environments to deliver required results.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse virtual platforms, digital, virtual communication etc.
  • Diverse background eg. Business Consulting, Digital learning deployment, Start Up, or any other field with transferrable skills applicable for the role.
  • Knowledge of Learning & Development tools, technologies and platforms that can be leveraged in deployment.
  • Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in finding new ways of doing things.
