Junior IT Support

You are the first point of contact for our colleagues working in the various offices around the world.

Our head office is in Utrecht, but we also have an international network, with locations in Zurich, London, Antwerp, Stockholm, New York and Tokyo. We are looking for an Junior IT Support to join our IT Services team, in which you will work closely with 2 IT professionals and an external IT service provider, the administrator of our environment.  

Your role

This is an interesting opportunity for you if you have a strong affinity with IT and enjoy identifying, managing and solving issues. You are the point of contact at Zanders who enables people to work optimally and provides high-quality service. Your ability to communicate effectively, including in English, is essential.

Interacting with the Zanders colleagues and defining and solving the issues is the most important part of this job. Given the fact that we work in the Cloud, it is crucial to have (learned) a understanding of the Office365 and network landscape and to understand where the issues might be. The more you have found your way in our organisation and have developed autonomy, the more you will be able to manage the issue directly or with the assistance of the service provider.

In the near future, we expect to further expand our organisation with more applications that will become part of our Cloud and a special focus on security. Besides the IT responsibilities, you can further develop and grow in the position by maintaining contact with the application specialists and the service provider and allocating them tasks. 

Responsibilities

• You are the first IT contact for your colleagues.
• You will identify issues related to login, non-functioning programs, performance issues, etc.
• You will prepare and deliver new laptops and phones to new employees.
• You are creating and setting up standard Teams and SharePoint sites.
• You will liaise with the external service provider, ensure that timelines are managed and define points of action.
• You are responsible for the administrative processing and/or registration of IT processes, specifically about the continuity and security. 
• You offer support in the implementation of new IT projects.

Skills to be successful

• 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar position.
• You have a completed HBO degree or are still working on your studies.
• You are available for at least 24 hours a week, but fulltime work is also possible.
• Strong affinity with IT, and you are familiar with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure, SAP and SAAS applications.
• A pro-active, eager to learn, service-oriented attitude whereby you think in terms of possibilities .Furthermore, you are problem solving, flexible and have an open personality.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
