Seeking an experienced professional in learning design and development to join our team as a Global Learning Design and Development Project Manager.
EY’s Global Learning function designs, develops and deploys technical and non-technical learning for EY professionals across the world. In the Design and development team, we are applying learning science and proven technology in the development and curation of the best learning content.

The opportunity
This role in the global learning team that will give you the opportunity to make a difference by helping EY professionals globally grow their skills and accelerate their careers.
This position is responsible for project management of design, development and curation of individual learning items and blended learning programs. The project manager will monitor the progress of instructional designers, developers, graphic artists, quality assurance specialists and all others associated with the design process. They will assist portfolio leaders in overseeing and managing all design activities necessary to deliver learning products that meet EY’s design quality standards, on time and to budget. The project manager will also work to a set of agreed project management standards and processes and will share best practices to support the continuous improvement of design and development speed, efficiency, and quality.
This role will provide the opportunity to work across the various service line learning portfolios, and work in dynamic, fast paced environment supporting multiple projects at a time.
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver learning design and development projects on time, to budget and quality standards
- Develop a detailed project plan for each project, based on a standard template, identifying deliverable due dates and review cycles
- Manage ongoing status reporting, communicate projects risks, escalating as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including subject matter resources, other learning stakeholders, and third-party learning vendors
- Ensure adherence to operations and compliance processes including procurement, finance, and Risk Management
- Coordinate and monitor the work of vendor project managers, designers and developers where applicable
- Facilitate regular project meetings
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Leverage and share best practices of project management with other team members
- Initiate and ensure the effective and timely publication of learning content by content administration
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Minimum of 7-year experience in managing learning design and development projects, preferably at a global level and/or to a dispersed client base
- Demonstrable experience involving project management skills including management of vendors
- Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale learning and development projects involving all delivery channels/types
- Demonstrable experience using project management software, including Microsoft Excel or Project
- Demonstrable experience of having built and maintained strong relationships with business customers/clients
- Demonstrable experience of thinking and acting strategically and commercially in pursuit of the wider EY business objectives
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong knowledge of - and commitment to optimize - learning end-to-end processes and standards
- Knowledge of learning science and evidence-based design standards and practices to ensure that EY’s learning content is of the highest quality and has the desired business impact
- A bachelor’s degree and ideally higher professional or master’s qualification in a related discipline
