In support of this vision, this senior role will see you partner with the FS Knowledge leaders and stakeholders to deliver an agreed set of content, community and culture programs to support EMEIA Financial Services Organization (FSO) Consulting business priorities. You will lead efforts that bring to life the collective global experiences, expertise and intellectual property that will fuel their success.

The opportunity
Our Knowledge Management services are structured around the three C’s of Content, Community and Culture. In terms of content, we focus on supporting the effective management of domain content across the knowledge management value chain by applying consistent standards, processes, governance and infrastructure. Content plans support the lifecycle management of domain content, typically including content harvesting, optimization and sanitization, curation, decommissioning, as well as monitoring and ensuring content quality across various dimensions. In terms of community, we focus on enabling domain communities with approaches, tools and solutions that will help their members connect and collaborate to meet their stated needs - to share, learn, create, define, build something new or find information through two-way interaction. In terms of culture, we focus on developing our suite of firmwide knowledge learning, carrying out campaigns to build a knowledge culture, and measuring the impact of our actions. We aim to build a self-sustaining knowledge culture so that our domain professionals are able to intuitively search, share and make themselves findable to others - and hence be able to deliver unparalleled insight into our clients globally.
This is a senior role that will see you build strong relationships with senior FS business stakeholders from EMEIA FSO Consulting domain and convert their business priorities into an integrated knowledge plan (IKP) that you and your team will deliver on. You will motivate and empower your colleagues to deliver high quality outcomes and be accountable for driving end-to-end delivery of knowledge management services aligned to EY’s global standards and methods. Your team’s efforts will play a critical role in enabling EY’s client-facing practitioners to use data, knowledge and collective intelligence to both win and deliver work in the domain.
Your key responsibilities
- You will work closely with the Knowledge Leader, KM Portfolio and Domain leaders in FS to define and deliver the knowledge management projects aligned to business priorities as set out in the IKP
- Leading the delivery of end-to-end knowledge management products and services aligned to knowledge management expectations and functional KPIs
- Developing and managing knowledge management projects and agreed knowledge manager capacity per the IKP with high performance excellence; coaching and empowering your team and calibrating for changing priorities and resource needs. Aligning and integrating knowledge management projects with business insights projects for the domain
- Actively looking for and driving opportunities to work more effectively across domains with your peers to be collectively agile and support optimal delivery to the EMEIA FSO Consulting business
- Developing strong stakeholder relationships that demonstrate commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, and developing and maintaining stakeholder relationship plans.
Skills and attributes for success
You’ll be a seasoned knowledge manager able to deal with ambiguous situations to achieve clarity and create a road map to drive the agenda forward. You will also be an experienced transformation and change driver who is able to successfully influence a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders. You will be an inspiringrole model having already managed, mentored or coached a team of more junior knowledge managers. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong self-engaged behavior, project management skills, execution rigor and share examples of high-value projects. You’ll have strong influencing capabilities and be able to communicate confidently with a diverse group of audiences esp. articulating the value of Knowledge to the business stakeholders
To qualify for the role, you must
- Have extensive years of relevant knowledge management experience and a commercial mindset
- Have demonstrable years of prior team leadership experience, and be able to provide an inspiring coaching experience to team members
- Have experience and knowledge of the Financial Services Industry
- Be inclusively collaborative and be able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders (be able to proactively engage, influence, impact)
- Be able to convincingly present the value proposition for knowledge as a key contributor to business outcomes and be able to prove impact resulting from the IKP
- Be able to demonstrate exceptional program and project management skills
- Be skilled at identifying data driven actions underpinned by a strategic and commercial mindset
- Have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A willingness to streamline, simplify and be a change agent, challenging existing ways of delivering knowledge management
- Experience in working across geographical borders, cultures and settings (virtual and face to face)
