Our Global Mergers & Acquisitionsand Private Equity practice combines business and technology expertise, providing services along the entire M&A transaction lifecycle. As our team member you will have an opportunity to serve clients across industries and geographies, bringing sustainability to the mix. Your primary focus will be on embedding ESG considerations into traditional M&A deal lifecycle, primarily within due diligence phase.

As part of our Global M&A and Private Equity practice, you will also take part in other projects, both in pre-deal and post-deal phases, working with our teams on

  • M&A strategy to define target inorganic growth areas, and portfolio optimization scenarios

  • Target screening to identify potential acquisition and alliance targets

  • Due diligence projects, ranging from strategic, operational, IT and technology due diligenceon top of ESG due diligences

  • Merger integration to help our clients plan and successfully execute integration phases across all functions (IT, operations, finance, HR, supply chain, etc.), including TSA exit

  • Carve-out and divesture where you will take part in the planning, follow-up and execution of separation activities

  • Joint-venture and alliances, helping our clients choose and implement desiredpartnership models

Your background

  • Advanced graduate degree in business, engineering, economics

  • 5+ years of M&A strategy consulting experience, alternatively 7+ years of experience in corporate internal M&A capability that allows for leading a team of consultants single-handedly

  • Strong interest in sustainability challenges for businesses

  • Ability to combine M&A expertise with sustainability-relatedtopics, including

  • Energy transition

  • Decarbonization (asset decarbonization, decarbonization policy, carbon offsets, carbon modelling)

  • Renewables (solar, wind, hydrogen, hydro, geothermal)

  • Sustainable financing

  • Fluent in English, working knowledge of other European languages is an advantage

  • Willingto travel in Europe
