The opportunity
Our business development team helps drive market-leading profitable growth for the firm through a range of activities from client and pursuit leadership through to account growth support. Within the Business Development team in The Netherlands, we are now looking for an experienced account manager to drive the Sustainability Field of Play .
Your key responsibilities
As Account Manager Sustainability you are responsible to create, own and implement global account activation strategy and planning in collaboration with our Climate Change and Sustainability Services leadership team in the region. You will work closely with the Global Client Service Partner, Business Development Leader and Service line leaders to drive global account activation; sales and program management; client experience; build external network and relationships with the client(s).You ensure that all locations and Service Lines of the firm are actively engaged around our largest, most complex global accounts and that we deliver Exceptional Client Service in all internal and external encounters.
Skills and attributes for success
Commitment and team spirit are crucial in this role. You have experience in working in international context and have affinity with sustainability and the services that service providers like EY provide.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Graduated with Master’s degree or equivalent;
- Minimum of >5 years of experience working as account manager or equivalent;
- Experience with sustainability consultancy and assurance services;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, the knowledge of other languages will be considered as a strong asset;
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in proposal management;
- Agile and growth-oriented mindset;
- Ability to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders;
- Accuracy and high level of detail;
- Excellent MS office skills including Teams, Excel and PowerPoint;
