The opportunity
By joining the Global Location Services & Incentives (GLSI) team in EMEIA, you will be a part of a fast-growing, high-performing team of people currently spread across 4 countries – Austria, Germany, Slovakia and the UK.
Your role will be to provide location advice to our national and international clients on their strategic investment projects, using our data-driven models to help identify, score and filter locations as part of the site selection process, whilst also supporting incentives’ negotiations with governments.
Our services are sector and project agnostic.
The team works on a variety of investment types from large manufacturing investments (including a number of recent ‘Gigafactories’), HQ selections to new technology centres. At present, the GLSI Location Services team is working on large global investment projects worth more than $25bn, across a range of industries and sectors.
Broad commercial acumen is essential, alongside an understanding of location-specific drivers in order to lead our clients through structured and tailored decision-making processes to maximise future value from the investment.
Your key responsibilities

Manage and support the growth of a high-performing international team focused on building data-driven analysis to support client investment projects -
Manage client interactions (at all levels), including leading project meetings and joint working sessions for their investment projects -
Presenting results and decision-recommendations to senior and C-Suite of our clients, who are frequently the main buyers of the team’s services -
Build and develop relationships with European and global governmental organisations and investment agencies -
Interface with government agencies in relation to initial data gathering and site identification
To qualify for the role you must have

Excellent project management skills -
Analytical and data interpretation skills applied to business decision-making processes -
Confident presenter to clients -
Excellent communication skills in English – report drafting, including official documentation and board reports in English, will be required -
Experienced user of PowerPoint and Excel -
Experience leading/managing a (matrix) team of consultants
Ideally, you’ll also have

Financial qualification / financial modelling experience -
Prior consulting and client management experience, or alternatively experience working with senior stakeholders within international organisations -
Prior site selection or investment project experience -
Understanding of investment incentives
