Are you almost done with your University Master studies? Do you want to combine theory and practice by writing your master thesis with experiencing what it is like to be part of a global consulting firm? Then we have the perfect internship program for you.

During this internship program you will have the unique opportunity to be part of our Portfolio- and Project management (PPM) team in the commercial/industrial sector (CIPS).

Coached and mentored by a supervisor / buddy from our PPM CIPS team you can leverage from an extensive knowledge and data pool and from the PwC network with experts all over the world. Also, a successful internship is a good first step to get to know each other and unlock further career opportunities at PwC.

What does your internship look like?

Our PPM CIPS team plays a fundamental role to support our clients to bring their strategy into execution.  We support them in building the capabilities to define and prioritise the right programs for their strategy and deliver these transformational programs derived from the strategy. We also provide guidance when clients need help in stabilizing critical programs or help them re-initiate them to create speed for sustainable delivery.

We would like to ask you to prepare an one-page research proposal, similar to the research proposal you would write for your University, containing:

  • Your topic: what is it that you are going to investigate?

  • Academic relevance: what value does this research bring to academic development in the Project-, Program and transformation area?

  • Business relevance: what value does this research bring to PwC and/or its clients?

  • Way of working: what would be your approach to come to a solid thesis?

Please convince us that your topic contributes to the development of our PPM team as well as that it covers the required academic prerequisites.

Who are you?

We're looking for interns who are proactive, analytical thinkers and eager to learn. Furthermore, you should be curious by nature, be interested in developments in the program- and project management field and have a critical attitude.

  • You follow a University Master in a field such as Business Administration, Business Information Management, Economics, also other master studies are welcome in our team as long as you have a passion to kick-start your career in Consulting;

  • You have good academic results and/or relevant extracurricular activities on your resume;

  • You are an ambitious team player, with a healthy drive & strong communication skills;

  • You like to analyze new issues and find solutions in a practical and creative way;

  • You take ownership, work structured autonomously and show interpersonal skills to work with a variety of stakeholders;

  • You pay attention to the big picture and have an eye for detail;

  • You are available for at least four to five months, for about four days a week (depending on the requirements from your University, we can be flexible to make it work).
