Disrupt or be disrupted. That’s today’s digital mantra. But how do you disrupt? Or how do you respond if you are being disrupted? There are multiple business models behind digital disruption, one of them is the Subscription business model. Enterprises like Netflix and Spotify are disruptive by taking a product or service that is traditionally purchased by customers on an ad hoc basis, and turning it into a repeating customer by offering a subscription for continued access to the product/service. How does this affect your business?

  • The focus needs to be on speed and agility, being able to deliver improvements on a frequent recurring basis.
  • Enterprises need to improve and increase their innovative power, remove organizational silo’s and get new technology and skills in to support the needed change.
