Role Summary: 

Work closely with clients to Interpret and translate client requirements into a technology solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings. Drive sign-off on the technology solution and act as an interface with the delivery organization to ensure effective transition, shape services and determine appropriate service delivery locations and related costs. Act as a key member of the sales team to represent the technology solution offering to the client/internal groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure effective transition, shape services, determine service delivery locations/related costs

  •  Drive sign-off on the technology solution and interface with the delivery organization
  •  Drive the necessary TGP Delivery sign-off of the solution with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences (see service group rules/process and escalation approach for specifics)
  •  Resolve assigned action points coming out of the opportunity quality assurance process

Interpret and translate client requirements into a technology solution

  •  Understand and translate buyer requirements into a solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate; leverage standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings
  •  Understand/clearly define the input required to create cost estimates; work with the Competitive Price Range (CPR) team on winnable pricing targets (compared to key competitors); provide input to the deal team on BD spend estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan
  •  Align final solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions as well as client expectations

Represent the technology solution offering to the client/internal groups

  •  Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups (Operating Group leadership and sales team, senior client buyers and functional owner relationships)
  •  Collaborate with the OG sales team and subject matter experts (e.g. Avanade, Accenture Software, MTA, Mobility) required during the sales process and the communication/collaboration with delivery organization(s)
  •  Promote the use of standards in the solution by coordinating with Legal and Commercial and directing Corporate Development Transaction Services (CDTS), if appropriate for the solution
  •  Collaborate with the Operating Groups to provide input to Terms and Conditions and in some cases accountable for specific contractual terms and conditions
  •  Collaborate with TGP leadership to identify point-of-contact for delivery and, where appropriate, lead stabilization efforts on client deals

Single Point of Contact Accountabilities

  •  Represent the solution in conversation with Operating Group leadership and sales team, senior client buyers and functional owner relationships
  •  Drive the necessary TGP Delivery sign-off of the solution with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences (see service group rules/process and escalation approach for specifics)
  •  Collaborate with the OG sales team and Subject Matter Experts (e.g. Avanade, Accenture Software, MTA, Mobility) required during the sales process and the communication/collaboration with delivery organization(s)
