Consultant Grid Analytics Resources

As a Grid Analytics Consultant you work within Smart Grid projects by supporting clients with the design, implementation and optimization of systems using specified business criteria. You have good understanding of the relation between company processes and analytics, hence being the link between business and IT. Because of the development of smart measuring techniques, the insight in energy use is enhanced. To apply this newly acquired knowledge, optimal network control is required. Regulation should be enabled to supply local demand, without losing track of properties in other parts of the network. Within Intelligent Grid Operations Accenture offers solutions for IT/OT integration, GIS systems, SCADA systems, Security and everything that is required for effective and efficient network management.
Within our Resources practice, we are looking for consultants with Grid Analytics experience, able to advise our clients regarding topics such as Predictive Maintenance, Grid Optimization, Business Intelligence, IT/OT integration, advanced fault management and other topics related to Grid Analytics.
Besides knowledge of these processes, experience with supporting systems (SAS, SAP HANA) is required and knowledge of other relevant systems would be advantage.
Within our Resources practice professionals from all over the globe are working together and are sharing knowledge and tools within an active network and in specific communities of practice. Furthermore our Resources professionals are working closely together with the professionals within our strategy, digital, technology and operation groups.
Place in the organization
As a Grid Analytics Consultant you will be working within the Resource practice. This practice is divided in the groups Energy, Utilities and Chemical & Natural Resources. The Resources practice of Accenture helps big chemical, electricity, oil and gas companies to become successful in the complicated and changing landscape they are operating.
Inside the Resources practice both Management and Technology Consultants are working as specialist, who collectively help our clients with for example the transition to more sustainable energy sources, development of new business models and the optimization of their production processes and value chain.
- Academic degree, preferably with economic, business administrative or technical background, with a data/statistic background.
- Knowledge of analytics systems (SAS, SAP HANA)
- Experience with Smart Grid Analytics and global knowledge of the industry relevant ICT solutions and applications (For example SAP SCP, Oracle SCM Maintenance Management, Microsoft solutions etc.)
- Multiple years of relevant work experience within a Utilities project or specific Smart Grid Analytics within another industry.
- Several years experience with project and/or consultancy work
- Fluency in Dutch and English
