As part of our European plan, we are currently growing our Practice Leaders team responsible for driving, supervising and building more capacity in each of RGP’s service lines: Finance and Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, Governance Risk & Compliance, Human Capital Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions across Europe.

We are looking on the European market to find a high-level accomplished business professional in Finance & Accounting to join our team as European Practice Leader and to act as principal subject matter expert in the Finance & Accounting area and lead the respective practice within Europe. The person will be located in one of European RGP’s offices, considering person’s home country.

What are the job’s primary components?
Establish and lead the Finance & AccountingService Line strategy across Europe and achieve revenue goal setting with a major contribution to European revenue / margin target.

Lead European sales campaigns and develop the capability across the geographic region in the specific service line.

Use RGP’s main value of client-centric market approach and collaborate with regional leadership, client service teams and recruiting located across Europe in business sales activities.

Liaise with Global leads on the specific service line and ensure consistent approach on the market.

Drive sales and service delivery on pan-European projects.

What are the job’s performance objectives?
You will become a trusted business partner to our clients (C-level / senior management), with responsibility for managing and exceeding expectations through your thought leadership and expertise in Finance & Accounting.

Leverage Finance & Accounting competencies to increase RGP’s penetration in Europe, help supercharging Advisory services, develop business alliances (partnerships) and an active Finance & Accounting community in the Region.

Develop core methodologies and sales approaches and become a mentor to the internal practice sales team by using ‘on the ground’ training and providing important support with developing winning proposals and quality assurance.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
You have built relevant state-of-the-art expertise and work experience in Finance & Accounting, are able to develop and share points of view as to the challenges of people responsible in Finance & Accounting, and have sharpened your customer service and consulting mindset working for a blue-chip management consulting company, having all together at least 15 years of experience.

You have reached a senior management level already and achieved required sales objectives in a business development role in consulting/professional services by targeting large blue chip companies across Europe.

You have a strong ability to work with (virtual) groups of highly skilled people and build teams across different countries.

You have gained a Project Management and/or other professional qualification in your field.

You have tested, developed and achieved during your professional career a sophisticated communicative style in English and a second European spoken language, as well as confidence in handling conflicting priorities and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

On personal level, you will be successful in this role using a pragmatic approach, strategic mindset and keeping a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit.
