For our Business Operations Team in the Benelux we are now looking for an
Coordinator Sales & Tenders (32 – 38 hours / week)
located in Brussels
Our international Business Operations Team is responsible for supporting the transformation of sales opportunities at our clients into real assignments for Hay Group. The team consists of two dedicated persons located in Amsterdam and Brussels supporting all our colleagues in the Benelux. It is a hardworking, flexible team with much freedom of action.
As a Coordinator Sales & Tenders your most important task will be to pro-actively advice our consultants and account managers in transforming sales opportunities into assignments, whether this concerns large scale assessments, consulting projects or pay benchmarks. You use our systems to the fullest to create overview and insight in the sales opportunities, our clients and our projects. These analyses and summaries are used in resourcing, decision taking and priority setting discussions. First intake with new clients, follow up on sales opportunities, coordination of requests for proposals and tenders into winning proposals, orchestrating Hay Groups resources, discussion about terms & conditions with clients, leading and participating in business related projects are all part of your new job. You like to support colleagues step by step in new working processes and systems. This role will be located in Zaventem (Brussels) and you will report to the Manager Business Operations Benelux, located in Amsterdam.
A successful Coordinator Sales & Tenders at Hay Group needs a pro-active mind-set. You are persistent, pragmatic and hands-on. You are courageous in approaching people, being able to take them along in business processes and systems. An energetic worker with a great deal of commercial drive and flexibility. Getting things done energizes you, as does our dynamic, international and constantly changing work environment.
- A bachelor or master degree in e.g. business administration, legal, economics (‘universiteit or hoge school’)
- 2 to 6 years of work experience in professional services business (e.g. consulting or similar), preferably in an international organization;
- Commercial drive and attitude with interest in contract terms and conditions;
- Excellent Excel skills is a must and affinity with sales databases is a pre;
- Excellent command of French, English and Dutch, in word and in writing;
- No problem traveling within Benelux.
The position offered is for six months at first, with the intention to extend your contract afterwards. We offer much freedom of action within a professional team as well as a chance to develop yourself in an international context. You will be stationed in Brussels (Zaventem), but you will be travelling to Amsterdam at regular basis. Salary and benefits are conform market standards.
